Rolex Explorer I 14720

A beautiful example of a Rolex 14270 in excellent condition with very little signs of wear and accompanied with its original papers dated 2000 and box. This watch is an A series serial number and is accompanied with a SWISS MADE dial only produced for a very limited time before the introduction of the 114270 released in 2001.

The model is housed in a 36mm case with smooth polished bezel and accompanied with an oyster bracelet and folding clasp. The striking black dial features applied white gold hour markers with arabic quarters and classic Mercedes hands. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal glass and is all powered by the calibre 3000 automatic movement.

The Rolex Explorer I is a classic sports watch with a fantastic heritage. With a 36mm case the 14270 is a contrast to the larger cases of the steel sports collection. The watch manages to combine a sports look with a slimmer more refine look.
